‘Improving Communication Skills for everyone’

At Midleton Speech and Language Therapy Clinic, we provide professional  and effective Speech, Language and Communication Therapy Services for children and adults using a       client-centred and holistic approach. Our goal for each client is to help the client maximise his/her communication potential and help them achieve the greatest quality of life through improved communication skills.

Intervention is offered for speech (articulation, fluency, voice), oro-motor skills, language,     communication interaction, cognitive communication (memory, organisation skills, problem solving) and dysphagia (feeding and swallowing disorders). We also provide training and         consultancy  to meet organisational requirements on request.

We pride ourselves in providing high quality tailored therapy services using both traditional and innovative therapy methods in our Practice to meet our client’s needs. We do this in our State of the Art Clinical Environment which is equipped with the latest assessments, therapy materials and highest quality equipment.

Working in collaboration with the client, we also consult, advise and instruct members of the family and significant others with regard to specific Speech Therapy modalities and                     interventions, to ensure our clients are supported and encouraged by those closest to them. We do this by identifying concerns through specialised and person-friendly evaluations and the    development of goals to meet the needs of the client and family/ caregivers.

The Clinic is happy to accept referrals from GPs, Consultants and other Health                 Professionals, in addition to self-referrals.
